Last week, we officially opened our new Devonport office, marking an exciting step forward for the organisation and the communities we support across the North and North West.
The opening ceremony brought together staff, stakeholders and community partners to celebrate the new office and the opportunities it will help create for people across the region.
The office was officially opened by Devonport Mayor Alison Jarman and Nexus client Meryl, who cut the ribbon together as part of the ceremony.
Mayor Jarman said she was proud to see Nexus establish a base in Devonport and recognised the important role organisations like Nexus play in supporting the local community.
“To have quality provider like Nexus here with a base in Devonport is something I am really proud of. It is so important for us as a community to look after everybody, and at the end of the day, we are all working towards the same thing, helping people,” Mayor Jarman said.
After the official opening, our team welcomed guests on a tour of the property and shared more about the services and opportunities Nexus provides across the region.
Nexus CEO Mark Jessop said the new office strengthens our presence in the region and supports our ongoing commitment to delivering tailored, high-quality services for Tasmanians with disability.
After acquiring the property earlier this year, the Devonport office was refreshed and updated to create a welcoming and functional space for both clients and staff.
