Nexus’s social enterprise, SEED (Social Enterprise, Employment and Diversity), is establishing a Recycle Rewards Container Collection Depot in Hobart. We expect to collect and process 15 million containers a year.
The Recycle Rewards scheme will return 10c for each eligible container presented at the Depot. This is a great opportunity for individuals who are passionate about sustainability, making a positive impact on the environment and their local community and supporting people to learn valuable employment skills.
The Recycle Rewards Depot Coordinator will be responsible for overseeing the smooth operation of the Depot and ensuring a seamless recycling experience both at the Depot and external collection points.
The position has a strong Business Development Representative role and will also function in a Business Development capacity, driving our new business initiative and establishing and maintaining a customer base of community and business collection points. The workload split for the position would be roughly equal between the Depot Coordinator role and the Business Development role.
