Earlier this month, we welcomed NDIS Minister Jenny McAllister, Senator Carol Brown and NDS State Manager Cathy Limb to one of our Supported Living properties in Hobart’s northern suburbs.
The visit was also attended by family members and support coordinators of some of our clients and provided an opportunity to raise and discuss several key NDIS-related concerns, including proposed reductions to participant funding and how these may affect the supports they receive.
During the visit, Minister McAllister and Senator Brown also toured the property and met with Nexus clients and staff.
