We are seeking community minded individuals to join our skills-based volunteer board of governance.
The Nexus Board is highly engaged and includes members with professional and personal experience across a wide range of areas including business, policy, corporate governance, mental health support, media, law, finance and the disability sector.
They are supported by a Finance and Audit Subcommittee and a Program Governance Subcommittee, which both include independent members.
Our Board is developing a new strategic plan for the 2024-2027 period. The previous plan focused on building capacity and awareness, growing the number of clients we support, broadening our service offering, and building processes for client feedback.
The Board remains committed to building business systems, developing staff capacity to deliver quality services, and maintaining financial security.
The Board is seeking applicants with strong governance skills and welcomes applications from people with skills in medical/health, community sector, policy and funding, and commercial strategy. We encourage people with disability knowledge, and particularly those with lived experience, to apply.
